Xolo Omega 5.0 with 5-inch HD display launched

Xolo has launched Omega 5.0, the company’s latest smartphone with its new HIVE UI . It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat)-based HIVE UI. Xolo has promised Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for all HIVE UI devices.
It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony EXMOR R sensor, 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot. Xolo launched the smartphone on Twitter to engage with fans across India.

The Xolo Omega 5.0 comes in black color and is priced at Rs. 8,999. It will be available across 10 major cities in India starting from December 10th and will eventually be available in the next 100 cities, by next month. It comes with 500 MB of free data for Vodafone customers and Unlimited music content on Vodafone Music for 2 months.

XOLO launches XOLO Play Tab 7.0 for under Rs. 13000

XOLO Play Tab 7.0 is powered by Tegra 3 processor and runs Jelly Bean OS on a 7 inch screen. XOLO Tegra Note made headlines in September that will come powered by Tegra 4 processor. The Play Tab 7.0 is already listed on some online stores for a price tag of Rs. 12,999.

XOLO started the tablet series by launching the XOLO Tab that supports 3G, powered by quad core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225Q) and priced at Rs. 13,499. The XOLO Play Tab 7.0 is different from the XOLO Tab as well as from, yet to be launched the XOLO Tegra Note. The Play Tab 7.0 is more powerful than the XOLO Tab, but doesn’t support 3G.


XOLO Play Tab 7.0 comes powered by NVIDIA T30L cortex A9 (Cortex A9 Tegra 3) quad core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz with 12-core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU. This tablet is 10.6mm thick and weight is around 338 grams.Capacitive IPS display is 7 inches with supported resolution of 1280×800 pixels with 16M colors.

Play TAB 7.0 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage + micro SD card support of up to 32GB.Other key features are front 2 megapixel camera (there is no rear camera), Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with hotspot, full HD playback (1080p) supported, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 4.0. 

A 4000 mAh Li-ion battery gives music playback time of up to 8 hours using the internal speakers and the tab can be fully re-charged within 4 hours.

Xolo Q700i with 4.5-inch display, Android 4.2 now available for Rs. 11999

Xolo Q700i, the new Xolo phone in the Q CORE series that was spotted online earlier this week, is now available from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. Xolo launched the Q700 back in May, and most of the features in the Q700i are similar to the Q700. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and packs a 2400 mAh battery.

It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xolo Q1000 - 5 inch HD display, Quad Core and Android 4.2 for Rs. 14,999

Initially spotted online, the Xolo Q1000 has finally gone official, with a price tag of Rs. 14,999/- Powered by a Quad Core processor, the Xolo Q1000 has a 5 inch 1280×720 HD display, which seems to the be the benchmark of all the mid range phablet-like devices in the Indian market these days. The display is similar to the one on the Xolo A1000 launched earlier this year, and the 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor and GPU are similar to that of the Xolo Q800. Consistent with other recent Android phone releases from other brands, the Xolo Q1000 is also running on Android 4.2 Jellybean, with lockscreen widgets and notification toggles.
