Samsung has announced a new affordable Android phone, Galaxy Pocket. This has 2.8-inch touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 832MHz processor. It has 2MP fixed focus camera. It is 11.98mm thick and weighs 97g.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket would be available in Italy starting from March, and will be gradually rolled out to Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and China. It would be priced at 139 euros (~US$ 189).
